What is crypto leverage trading on BRVX?

On BRVX you trade crypto through perpetual futures: contracts that follow a coin's price in USDT and have no expiry date. You post USDC, BTC, ETH, USDT, SOL or BNB as margin, open a long or short position with up to 150x leverage, and pay a trading fee of 0.05%–0.1% depending on the coin. While the position is open, funding is settled every 1h. You never hold the coin itself, so there is nothing to withdraw or store.

Leverage works both ways: a small move against you can lose you the whole margin.

Bet on Bitcoin going up or down

Illustrative example on Bitcoin, before fees and funding.

Crypto can move 20% in a day. At 5x, a move of about 16% against you closes the position, with 80% of the margin lost.

Crypto leverage trading, answered

What is leverage trading in crypto?

It means opening a position larger than your deposit. With $100 and 10x, you control $1,000 of Bitcoin exposure, and gains and losses are ten times larger than without leverage.

What is the maximum leverage on Bitcoin?

Up to 150x, depending on the coin. The lowest limit among crypto pairs is 80x, and the app shows the exact limit before you open.

Can I short Bitcoin?

Yes. Choose Short when you open the position. You gain if the price falls and lose if it rises.

How does funding work on BRVX?

Funding is settled every 1h while a position is open. Each coin has its own rate for long and for short, shown in the table above and in the app.

Can I use Bitcoin as margin?

Yes. Margin can be USDC, BTC, ETH, USDT, SOL or BNB. Keep in mind that a BTC margin changes value with the Bitcoin price.

What are the trading fees for crypto?

0.05%–0.1% to open and the same to close, depending on the coin, plus funding while the position is open.

Is XAUT real gold?

XAUT is Tether Gold, a token backed by gold. On BRVX you trade its price as a perpetual, you do not receive the token or the gold.

Is BRVX available in my country?

BRVX is not available in the US. The full list of restricted countries is in the Legal Center.
