New coins start trading on a bonding curve, where the price rises automatically as people buy, and move to a regular exchange pool once they reach a set size. The platform charges fees on this trading. PUMP is its token, launched in 2025.

PUMP depends on memecoin activity on Solana: the number of coins launched, trading volume and the platform's fee revenue.
