About Intel
What Intel does
Intel is the company behind the x86 processor family found in most Windows laptops, desktops and many servers. Unlike most chip companies it runs its own fabs, and it is trying to turn that into a contract-manufacturing business, Intel Foundry, that builds chips for other designers too. Its main product lines are client computing (PC processors) and data center and AI (Xeon server chips). The shares are listed on Nasdaq as INTC.
What drives the INTC price
The story around Intel is a turnaround, so the market watches execution closely: whether new manufacturing processes arrive on schedule, whether outside customers sign up for the foundry, and how much cash the factory build-out consumes. PC shipment cycles and market-share battles with AMD in both laptops and servers show up in every quarterly report. Government support for domestic chip production and large strategic investments or partnerships have also moved the stock sharply on the day they were announced.
Intel on BRVX
BRVX carries Intel as INTC/USDT. When a foundry customer, a process-node delay or a government stake is announced after Nasdaq shuts, the INTC/USDT line reprices that evening, and through Saturday and Sunday. Traders see the turnaround news reflected before Monday, but the position is still a price contract: no Intel stock is held and no dividend is paid.

Keep the multiplier low on news days
Intel can jump or slide by double digits on a single announcement. Intel's ceiling is 100x; staying far below it and attaching a stop-loss keeps one headline from ending the trade.

Step-by-step long and short: how to trade Intel. Next report date and call time: Intel earnings date.
Where is Intel stock trading right now?
Intel is at 98.01 USDT on BRVX, −5.00% across the day. Because INTC/USDT trades on after the Nasdaq session, it often sits away from the official close.
Why has Intel stock been so volatile?
Investors are pricing a turnaround: manufacturing roadmaps, foundry customers, cash burned on new fabs and share won or lost against AMD all reset expectations with each update.
Is Intel a chip designer or a manufacturer?
Both. Intel designs its own x86 processors and runs factories, and through Intel Foundry it offers that manufacturing to other chip companies.
What leverage suits a stock as jumpy as Intel?
Intel opens at 50x with a ceiling of 100x, but on a name that can swing 10% in a session a high multiplier can erase the margin in one day. An Intel round trip costs 0.05% plus 0.05% of size, and the open INTC position pays funding of 0.0034% hourly.
What is a typical daily swing for Intel?
About 4.85%, averaged over 30 sessions (15 up, 14 down); the widest was 12.02% on Sep 22. At the default 50x, a 2% move the wrong way empties the margin.
How far does $100 go on INTC?
Far enough for 51 INTC at 50x default leverage, 102 at the 100x cap, all off a 98.01 USDT price. Whatever multiplies the position multiplies the loss.
Has Intel made a new high on BRVX?
Its best print remains 141.09 USDT from Jul 1, 2026, −26.74% above the current 103.37. The other extreme, 79.13 USDT on Jul 30, 2026, is the low for the INTC/USDT record that started Jun 24, 2026.
Can weekend moves in Intel wipe out margin?
They can: INTC has swung 2.06% on an average weekend day since Jun 24, 2026, versus 3.29% on a weekday, and leverage applies the same way both days.
Leverage works both ways: a small move against you can lose you the whole margin.
