Crypto profit calculator & PnL card
Pick one of 41 BRVX markets, long or short, the entry and exit price and your leverage. The calculator shows the result as a percentage of your margin, before fees and funding, and draws a share card you can download as PNG. It is a calculator, not a trade record.
Leveraged trading carries a high risk of losing your entire margin.
Illustrative calculation. Not a real trade record. The result leaves out trading fees and funding, so a real trade ends lower. Leveraged trading carries a high risk of losing your entire margin.

How the result is calculated
Profit on a leveraged perpetual is the price move multiplied by leverage, measured against the margin you put in.
Price move
From entry to exit. A long gains when the price rises, a short when it falls. Long NVDA from $218.57 to $225.12 is a 3% move.
move = (exit − entry) ÷ entry× leverage
Leverage multiplies the move on your margin, both ways. The same move at 10x is 30% on margin.
result on margin = move × leverageBefore costs
The opening and closing fee and hourly funding are not included. Use the funding calculator and the fees page to see what they take off.
real result = result − fees − funding
Leverage works both ways: a small move against you can lose you the whole margin.
Worked example: NVIDIA
Long NVDA at 10x, entry at the live price $218.57, exit 3% higher.
Price move
3%
From $218.57 to $225.12.
Leverage
10x
Within the limit BRVX sets for NVDA.
On margin, before fees and funding
30%
The same move against you would be a loss of the same size.
Leverage works both ways: a small move against you can lose you the whole margin.
PnL card, answered
How do I calculate crypto profit with leverage?
Take the price move from entry to exit as a percentage and multiply it by the leverage. A 3% move at 10x is 30% of your margin. For a short, a falling price is the gain.
Why is the result shown as a percentage of margin?
Because that is what you put at risk. The card shows no dollar amounts by default, so you can share a result without showing your balance.
Are fees and funding included?
No. The card says "before fees and funding". A real trade pays an opening and a closing fee and hourly funding while it is open, so the real result is lower.
Is the PnL card a record of a real trade?
No. It is drawn from the numbers you type in and is marked "Illustrative calculation. Not a real trade record." It does not read any account or position.
What does the invite code on the card do?
It is your BRVX referral code. Friends who sign up with it get 2 weeks of zero trading fees, and you get 30% of their fees back. The QR code on the card opens the app with the code.
Can the card show a loss?
Yes. Enter an exit against your direction and the card shows the loss in red. A loss cannot go below −100% of the margin.
