An open BRVX position stays open until you close it, a take-profit or stop-loss triggers, or the margin runs out; perpetual contracts never expire. Closing charges the close fee, which on BRVX is the same rate as the open fee, and the result moves from Positions to History.
Three ways a position ends
- You close it yourself from the Positions tab at the market price.
- A take-profit or stop-loss you set triggers and closes it.
- Losses use up the margin and the position is closed automatically.
What the close costs
The close fee is a percentage of the position size: 0.1% on BTC and 0.05% on NVDA. A 1,000 USDT BTC position pays 1 USDT to close.
Funding charged while the position was open has already been taken from it, so your final PnL is price change minus both fees minus funding.
Reading the result
Closed trades appear under History. The Total PnL figure on the same panel adds up realised results.
